Please note that when you book a course you are agreeing to and are bound by our terms and conditions.
Fees:
- 50% of the total amount is due at the time of enrolment and is non-refundable.
- The balance must be paid at least one week before the course starts.
- The full course fee must be paid if booking within 2 weeks of the course start date.
- Enrolment on the course is not guaranteed until receipt of full payment.

The workshop fee covers the cost of:
- Use of studio and equipment during class hours.
- Participation in a Masterclass with instruction by a qualified artist.
- Attendance at various in-house events organised by the International Summer Academy 2018. It does not cover the cost of necessary materials or excursions, travel or accommodation costs.
Cancellations:
In case of cancellation by Donna Brennan Contemporary:
- Please note that courses have minimum attendance levels and may be cancelled if too few bookings are received.
- We reserve the right to amend or cancel courses, change course location and substitute lecturers and tutors.
- If we cancel a course, we shall endeavour to give you at least one week’s notice. You will receive a full refund of the fees, which we will return to you within 30 days.
- We will not be liable for any losses (including, but not limited to, travel and accommodation costs) as a consequence of any modification or cancellation of courses or timetabling constraints beyond the cost of the course fee.
In case of cancellation by applicant:
- Our Masterclasses are very popular and places are limited. If for any reason you need to cancel your place on a course then we regret that no refund can be issued. If you are booked on a course and do not turn up on the day then no refund or transfer will be given. After a course has begun there is no refund.
- Class Transfers: Unfortunately we do not offer class transfers under any circumstances. We run our courses based on the number of students booked in and would not be able to operate such a high quality, professional service if we offered refunds and transfers.

Class Postponement
If a class is postponed for reasons for which we are responsible, including staff illness, we will make every reasonable effort to reschedule the class or to add the missed hours onto the remaining course classes. We apologise for this inconvenience.
Minimum Age Requirement:
We cannot accept bookings from or for students under 18 years of age.
Student Conduct:
Students are required to conduct themselves in a professional manner and to recognise that other students also require support and assistance. If a student becomes persistently disruptive, we reserve the right to offer a verbal or written warning and, if this does not resolve the situation, we may, at our discretion, ask the student to leave the course.
Certificates:
On completion of your course, and having attended the minimum number of hours required, Donna Brennan Contemporary will provide you with a certificate. It is not feasible to examine and grade your ability of work, or depth of knowledge, therefore the certificate of attendance is not a qualification.
Insurance:
Donna Brennan Contemporary is not liable for accidents, theft or any kind of damage which takes place during the course. The participant is advised to provide personal health, travel and liability insurance.
Security measures:
Every attendant must be responsible for their own health needs.
Entrance to Donna Brennan Contemporary studio premises is restricted to participants, teachers and members of Donna Brennan Contemporary staff.
